Our classes are designed for individuals who need to take a life skills class for court orders, as part of a legal or probationary reason, or simply to just improve for personal growth. The Life Skills Plus curriculum has been designed and developed by Elizabeth LaMont, LCSW, and Ph.D. Dr. LaMont has developed curriculum to help meet the demand for quality life skills programs that the legal system can rely and bring resources to offenders. Life Skills Plus classes provide in-depth information, expansive content, detailed quizzes, and with the highest level of security in the industry. Those who want the most detailed life skills class available, ideally, enroll in our program.

About Elizabeth LaMont, LCSW, Ph.D.
Dr. LaMont, has been a practicing counselor since 2003 with experience in DSM-IV diagnoses including depression, anxiety, phobias, trauma, PTSD, ADD/ADHAD, schizophrenia, bipolar and personality disorders, analysis, focus groups, extrapolation, parenting, substance abuse treatment, group practice, empowerment, treatment protocol, development and has additional counseling experience with relationships. She is also a researcher who is skilled at data gathering, program administration, and program development for at-risk populations. Dr. LaMont has taught many courses with emphasis on vulnerable populations and human behavior and the social environment, which examines issues across all stages of human development. Dr. LaMont is an expert and an industry leader in behavior modification and the programs she has developed have been approved by probation departments, municipal courts, and justice of the peace courts in several states including: Texas, Missouri, California, Florida, South Carolina and others.

Dr. Elizabeth LaMont-
Assistant Professor of Social Work at Texas A&M University Commerce- Dr. LaMont taught courses in both the Bachelor and Master's program of Social Work degrees. She served on the Department's Curriculum Committee and the Department of Technology Committee.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker- In 1990 she received a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University, Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Weber State University in 2001, (Summa Cum Laude), she received her Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) in May 2003, and a Ph.D. in Social Work in August 2007. She has won numerous writing awards from the Society of Professional Journalist.

Adjunct Professor- Teaches graduate courses in the Substances Abuse Certification Program.

Taught the BSW program- (including Generalist Practice, Mezzo Practice, Macro Practice, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Human Behavior and Social Environment).

Has counseled all types of individuals, groups, and families for a variety of therapeutic issues including: Substance abuse Depression Anxiety Domestic violence Phobias Relationship issues Substance abuse assessments and treatments for federal and state legal clients
