REMODELING YOUR HOME

Remodeling?

Definition of remodeling: Any additions or changes to the existing residence to include but not limited to the following: additions and expansions, patios and sport courts (attached, unattached, covered, or uncovered), paint and/or repair where the color of the original stone, stucco, and/or trim will be changed. Remodeling shall also include the placement and construction of water wells, solar panels, satellite dishes, and fencing whether new or replacing.

Remodeling: Follow these steps

Step one: Review the ACC Checklist before creating a remodeling design for your home

Step two: Plan your home’s remodel with your architect/designer/builder and/or contractor

Step three: Gather your remodeling information

Step four: Contact Al Duffey with the ACC on how to submit for review. (ACC meets 3rd Monday of the month. Please submit one week minimum prior to their monthly meeting)

All of these drawings should include the materials checklist.

If applicable, you will need a site plan to make sure it conforms to all of the building setbacks.

Make sure it is conforming to the checklist.

Full set of plans are not needed at this stage.
